Matter Management
Create a matter, upload documents, and PONS extracts parties, dates, jurisdiction, and key facts. Assign tasks, track deadlines, generate documents from case context, and monitor progress from intake to resolution.

How matter management saves you time
Create a matter, build a baseline, assign tasks, draft documents, and track progress through every stage.
Create and Baseline
Upload documents and PONS builds the matter record
Start by creating a new matter and uploading the initial documents. PONS reads the documents and extracts key facts: parties involved, relevant dates, jurisdiction, matter type, and a summary of the issues. This becomes the matter baseline, a structured record you can review and adjust before proceeding.

Tasks and Deadlines
AI generates a task list based on matter type and jurisdiction
Based on the matter type and jurisdiction, PONS generates a suggested task list with deadlines and dependencies. For example, a litigation matter in Norway might include tasks for filing deadlines, discovery windows, and hearing preparation. You can accept, modify, or add tasks. Each task is assignable to a team member.

Document Drafting
Generate documents directly from matter context
Select a document type and PONS pulls in the relevant case files, jurisdiction-specific rules, and your firm templates to generate a first draft. Edit inline, iterate, and every version is tracked within the matter. The draft starts from your actual case, not a blank page.

Stage Tracking
Full visibility into every matter at a glance
Each matter moves through stages: intake, active work, review, and closed. The dashboard shows which stage every matter is in, upcoming deadlines, and overdue tasks. You can view the full activity history, including document uploads, task completions, and status changes, all in one place.
